I had blood work done last July and my out of pocket bill was $294.91. Six months ago, I had exactly the same blood work done at another health system and my bill was less than $150. Same insurance ! And to add insult to injury, I got a bill from Associated Pathology Consultants - Elmhurst , SC for the blood work! I've had hundreds of blood work done at several health institutions before and never got a pathologist bill. Biopsies, yes. But not blood work! Mind you, that's the first and last time I'm going to Elmhurst for blood work. I like my doctor there but I would go somewhere else.
I was 100% satisfied with the care my 3 yr old received. We took him in early in the morning and they took him right in. He was admitted for bronchitis and was to stay for 24hour observation. Nurse Lin was the best nurse I have ever dealt with. She made sure my son was well taken care of. Once her shift was over the nurse that took over was well informed about my son. Nurse Lin was back in the am and was update before even saying hello. She is outstanding! She made sure I was comfortable with every since treatment that was being done, and made sure to explain everything in full detail. What a God send she is!! Thank you nurse Lin!!
I went yesterday to get some records from employees health I my experience with the nurse was terrible. She was rude unprofessional and then when she bring me the paper turn around never say anything and I say thank you and she just keep walking never say anything. That make me think of new employees they need to deal with this supposed nurse.
I've been to many hospital and facilities and would recommend Elmhurst Memorial Hospital to anyone. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The care you receive here is top notch and second to none. My family and I have all been treating with EMH for over 30 years. We love it.
I had both of my kids delivered in EMH that are two years apart. The doctor and nurses were knowledgeable and we're willing to assist and accommodate my wife's needs while in labor. I am very grateful for the professionals at this hospital. The rooms were spacious and clean. Food was pretty good for a hospital. No complaints.
